Now that the general great American depression is conceded by everyone to be almost over, people are again thinking of 2000 A.D. The millions have, of course, never heard of scientifiction at all, but all around us you will see the oil companies "City of the Future". Scientifictional radio programs, visualizing Orson Wells, or course. An increase in the number of scientifiction writings, or writings of that general nature, and above all AN INCREASING INTEREST IN THE DOINGS OF THE SCIENTIFIC WORLD. 

Consequently, people get a broader outlook, and become "attuned" to the outlook that one must have to enjoy and appreciate Science-Fiction. Science-Fiction's outlook is now the brightest in its history. The populace has a more optimistic attitude towards the "crackpots" and all that is needed is to put copies of the mags into people's hands, and, admittedly not all of them, or even half of them, will become interested, but at least, more people than ever before are now willing or ready to accept science-fiction if broached to them in the proper way.

The Frank A. Eunsey Co., is commencing bi-monthly publication of "Fantastic Novels", each issue of which will contain a reprint of one of the more famous science fiction or weird novels of the past ten or twenty years. That they really mean "full length novel" is evidenced by the fact that the first issue will contain "The Blind Spot" complete - nothing more, nothing less. If the venture is successful it will give to thousands of readers and opportunity to collect and enjoy masterpiece reprints at a low price.
