 In the event that you should deem it advisable, Dean Robert Ray of the Extension Division has indicated the willingness of that Division to cooperate with the University Committee on Human Rights in organising a state-wide conference on human relations, which could be held at Iowa City.  Such a conference might prove useful to you and the new members of your Commission as an opportunity to bring together interested persons from all parts of Iowa to discuss this critical question.

 I wish to assure you that the members of the University Committee on Human Rights and others of our fellow staff members and students are anxious to be of help to the state in dealing with the question of human rights.  If we can be of any assistance to you, we hope you will feel free to call upon us.
