The Harmony "It Could Happen To You" {Rending top right of page sheet music with cover page that reads: SING ALONG WITH... AWS CPC WRA YWCA PEP CLUB UNION BOARD STUDENT SENATE} The melody of your life at SUI will be the everyday things: the dates, the dorm fun, the discovery of new people and ideas, and the study, study, study. You may find that after you've settled somewhat and become accustomed to college life, you will want to add a little harmony to your life in the form of campus activities. You can develop your talents and display them in SUI clubs and organizations while working with other students who share your interests. Your chance to participate in extracurricular activities is just around the corner when you come to SUI. You'll be introduced to most campus organizations at the Orientation Activities Open House, September 19, in the Union. SUI offers an almost limitless range of activities, but you'll be wise to pick carefully among the many to find those that will be most harmonious with your ambitions, your time, and your capabilities. In most groups, you'll be starting at the bottom as the newest member of the SUI community; however, subcommittee positions will train you for the more responsible jobs you may assume in the future. Cooperate with the groups you've chosen, do your best at the tasks assigned, offer your new ideas and suggestions, and your good qualities will be recognized with leadership opportunities. You'll have more fun and add a little harmony to the melody of your life at SUI if you develop an interest in outside activities. In the following pages you can glimpse some of the groups you may wish to join during the next four years. Want to rise to the top of an organization? You never know-"It Could Happen To You!" 17
