Curtain Going Down The curtain lowers, the lights dim, the audience applauds, and your performance is over! From your four years at Iowa you will have learned much; you will have profited from your own experiences and those of others in classroom relationships, over a cup of coffee, and during your participation in extracurricular activities. Every effort you will have made adds to your growth-your academic work, your friendships, your new-found appreciation of art and music-and you will have discovered that being a student is what you are willing to put into it. College is a personal experience, comprised of the courses, the activities, the friends, the social life, and the knowledge you choose to pursue. Just as each face on the campus is unique, so is each college career. As you look forward now to your entrance on the U of I stage, we hope Code for Coeds has answered some of your questions. There are many aspects of college which you will explore for yourself as you make the most of the opportunities awaiting you. The "Spotlight on You" as you graduate from the U of I will show what you have gained in maturity and knowledge. If you begin your four-year experience with a smile and boundless determination, you will win fun and fulfillment, and the applause you merit for a job well done. 26
