Associated Women Students

   Associated Women Students (AWS) sincerely welcomes you to our campus. We are pleased that you have chosen to come to Iowa, and we are confident that the experiences and opportunities awaiting you will be meaningful and enjoyable.
   You are already an AWS member as our organization includes all undergraduate women. We sponsor many all-campus activities, and several of them function just for women. We hope you will participate in these activities, and we also invite you to help in planning them. 
   AWS participation will give you a chance to make many close faculty, staff, and student friendships. Our projects are designed to be of service to the University community, and to offer leadership and organizational challenges to undergraduate women.
   As you further your education at the U of I, we do hope you will share fully in its activities, develop your potential, and strive for that well-rounded liberal education that combines experiences in scholastic endeavors and campus activities.
