The churches work through their college center to know and serve you. {Drawing of Church} Student religious groups established at the U of I include: Baptist-Roger Williams Fellowship, Catholic-Newman Club, Christian-Disciples Student Fellowship, Christian Science Society, Congregational and Evangelical Reformed-United Students Fellowship, Episcopal-Canterbury Club, Interdenominational-Iowa Christian Fellowship, Jewish Student Center-Hillel Foundation, Latter Day Saints, Lutheran Student Association, Methodist-Wesley Foundation, Methodist sorority-Kappa Phi, Missouri Synod Lutheran-Gamma Delta, Nazarene Young People's Society, Presbyterian-Westminster Fellowship, Quakers-Friends Meeting. Participation in a religious group will lend a deeper meaning to your other activities and provide another way to fulfill your personal goals. Associate Women Students... You are already a member of one campus organization-Associated Women Students-AWS. Upon registering as an undergraduate woman you became a member of the largest women's organization on campus. Acting as the governing body for U of I women students, AWS offers judicial, service, and social activities. One area is sure to suit your interest. AWS welcomes your active participation. The four administrative officers are elected each spring in the all-campus elections. Our officers for 1967-68 are led by Jane Anderson, president. Mary Jo Hultgren is serving as vice-president, Marsha Morgan is secretary, and Carol Beaumont is treasurer. AWS General Council includes these officers, the general chairmen of the specific committees, representatives from each housing unit, and the executive secretary. 16
