You'll find that college is full of new opportunities, new experiences, and new people. As you get ready for college, you'll have many questions about your new school. We'd like to introduce you to Iowa—we've tried to anticipate some of your questions. For some of you, college will not be a new experience. Although the majority of new students at SUI each year are freshmen, there are also many transfer students. We'd like to extend our warm welcome to all of you who have decided to continue your education with us. Although some of you are familiar with college, perhaps we can acquaint you with Iowa. You will soon be a part of the Iowa campus; but now, as you are preparing to begin this new phase of your life, is a good time to stop and take stock of your goals. Remember that you'll get out of college just what you put into it. You'll find all the opportunities you can wish for. We of AWS will do our best to help you make a good beginning. Let's turn the spotlight and see what's ahead. 5
