[hand drawing of girl with SUI sweatshirt] SUITING UP For this game you bring your own uniforms. Don't be concerned about the "collegiate" smartness of your clothes. The only requirement for them is that they be in good taste. As a rule, you'll find most of your high school clothes will carry over. It's still warm in September, but we rush the season and wear our skirts and sweaters to classes and swap the bobby socks and sneakers for hose and flats for movie dates. Comfort is synonymous with fashion. Lounging clothes are Bermudas, slacks or jeans. On those hot, sunny spring days, we don out bathing suits and head for the roof for golden tans and freckles. But before the sun - the snow, the rain and the mud. Be prepared ! Don't get caught with your defenses down. A warm winter coat a tried-and-true raincoat, an umbrella and snow boots are all necessities. Teas, church and Sunday noon dinner call for a wool dress or suit and heels. A dressy sheath or cocktail dress takes preference over full-length formals when the big dances swing around. A campus this size features a wide variety in style and dress. The emphasis is on the practical. All your clothes will bee new to us. If you like them, so will we. Be sure to pack: laundry bag clothes hangers sewing supplies gym or tennis shoes clothes brush soap and personal items alarm clock towels and wash cloths Squeeze in if possible: lingerie chest skirt and blouse hangers shoe racks typewriter cup and spoon hair dryer book ends 6
