Commission in conjunction with the Iowa City Recreation Commission. Improving relations between the students and townspeople, it's hard to tell who had the most fun - coeds or children ! SPECIAL PROJECTS Falling under the realm of Special Projects are those YWCA activities designed for fundraising purposes. Under the direction of the organization's financial chairman, the "Y" assumes sponsorship of a booksale, a Mother's Day Corsage sale, a Silver Tea, and others. One of the most widely known projects occurs in the fall when they handle the sale of University Homecoming badges. CHRISTIAN FAITH AND HERITAGE The purpose of the Christian Faith and Heritage Commission is to interpret the Christian Faith for every member of the campus community in a way that is meaningful. In the past a program entitled "Skeptics" has bee meeting monthly under the leadership of a faculty member to discuss moral and ethical problems affecting student life. Cooperation is maintained with the various religious groups on campus in vespers and during religious emphasis week. WRA Have some free time and a yen for sports? Better look into the Women's Recreation Association. Providing an unlimited range of activities, this group operates under the direction of the WRA Board, which may be found in session every first and third Thursday of each month.
