[hand drawing WELCOME SUI] SUI Prepares for You To gain the full benefit of your years at SUI, you should start taking advantage of its opportunities immediately. But how will you know thee opportunities? SUI has come up with a wonderful solution to this problem - Orientation Week. During this special week for fun and excitement, you'll be able to assimilate all the facts you've learned about SUI; your questions will be answered; and you'll get a more complete picture of college life. All new undergraduate students (that's you!) are scheduled to meet for the first time Sunday, September 17 at 7:30 p.m., in the Field House. Here you'll meet University student and faculty leaders, along with other freshmen and transfers. Following the program, you'll be whisked off for a relaxing visit in the home of some staff or faculty member - possibly one of your future instructors. This is your opportunity to become acquainted with the faculty, as well as with the twenty or more students in your particular group. Take advantage of this chance; you'll enjoy the informal discussion of problems you'll be encountering later in the University, as well as the refreshments prepared by your faculty hostess. 10
