—SUPPORT THE MORATORIUM— Dear Mr. President: We are dismayed at the way our Federal tax dollars are being spent! We pay willingly for programs promoting peace, human dignity, and an improved quality of life for all, at home and abroad. But we protest the squandering of our resources for war and armaments. We say YES to: 1. Adequate income, housing, nutrition, and health care for all. 2. Equal opportunities for education and employment. 3. Assistance to other nations through international agencies, and encouragement of national self-determination. 4. Saving and enhancing the quality of our environment. We say NO to: 1. War in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. 2. ABM, MIRV, and other weapons for over-kill. 3. The excessive reliance on armed force in domestic and international affairs. 4. A tax structure which favors special privilege. Respectfully yours,
