the Fraternity Affairs Office, and who fails to make a satisfactory settlement of said indebtedness, may be dismissed from the University. No student may register in any new semester who has a prior unsettled indebtedness to the University or to a fraternity using the Fraternity Affairs Office, nor during the period in which the indebtedness remains unsettled may any evidence of attendance or other official credentials be obtained from the University. B. Any student who incurs an indebtedness with anyone for room, board, or other legitimate school expense, and who has failed to make payment under the terms originally agreed to by him, may be dismissed from the University upon a showing of undue or willful neglect in such matters. IX. Summons by Advisers and Other Officers. Students are expected to answer promptly written notices or summonses of advisers, college deans, Student Health, and other University officers. Failure to answer promptly such notice will result in disciplinary action including special fee assessment, withholding of a degree, or, in flagrant cases, dismissal from the University. X. Photographs for Publication. To protect the University and its students from undesirable publicity, photographs for publication purposes must not be taken in University buildings, including dormitories and chapter houses, except with approval from the proper authority. Permission must be given by the heads of academic departments when those areas are involved. No student pictures may be used in commercial advertising if the name of the University is involved. XI. Administration of Discipline. Discipline of individual students or student groups, in matters of conduct, is administered by the Dean of Students. Any decision of the Dean of Students may be appealed to the Committee on Discipline. XII. Penalties. Violations of rules of personal conduct shall be reported to the Dean of Students. Penalties for such violations may be conduct probation, suspension from the University for a definite period of time, dismissal from the University, or such other penalties as may be provided in specific cases. XIII. Approval of Trips. Trips planned by student groups or organizations must be approved in advance by the Office of Student Affairs. CHAPTER II-SOCIAL REGULATIONS I. Definition. The regulations of this section apply to any party, exchange, picnic, or other social function sponsored or planned by an organized student group. II. Approved Places. Student social functions may be held only in places approved by the Office of Student Affairs. Student groups are advised to check approval of places before scheduling an event. [3]
