F. Early Closing Hours. The term "early closing hours" is a judiciary penalty which means that a student must oberve earlier closing hours than those observed by other women for the period prescribed by her judiciary committee. G. Campus. The term "campus" means that the student must be in her place of residence from 8:00 p.m. until 6:30 a.m the following morning and must abide by her housing unit's campus regulations. Any deviation from standard procedure must be recommended by the house Judiciary Board and approved by the Central Judiciary Board. The campus usually begins on the first Friday after the penalty has been imposed. Breaking campus is a serious offense. Cases of broken campus will be referred to Central Judiciary Board. H. Social Probation. Social Probation is a most serious penalty and may be imposed by the Central Judiciary Board for flagrant viollation of regulations. Social Probation consists of recording the offense in the student's permanent record and sending a letter to parents. A campus may be started immediately following the offense with final action resting upon the decision of the Central Judiciary Board. The board may also recommend suspension from the University. I. Repeated Infractions. May be cause for referral to the Counselor to Women for further action. X. Appeals. For consideration of a penalty, a girl should immediately appeal to the Central Judiciary Board. For further consideration, a student may appeal to (1) the Counselor to Women, (2) the Dean of Students, and (3) the University Discipline Committee. XI. Administration A. Central Judiciary Board 1. Powers. The Central Judiciary Board shall be responsible for the administration of the regulations as herein set forth and as amended in the future; and shall act as a disciplinary board in the event of violation of these regulations. The Central Judiciary Board may consider any problem on its own motion. 2. Membership. The Board membership is as follows: Chairman, appointed by the Associated Women Students one month before the close of the first semester; dormitory association judiciary chairman; two selected representatives of the Panhellenic judiciary chairmen; and a representative of the town houses. A secretary will be appointed by the Board each year as a non-voting member. These representatives shall be selected for membership in a manner [12]
