V. Use of Campus Booth. Student groups desiring the use of a booth on campus must make written requests to the Office of Student Affair giving dates needed, purpose, and name of person in charge at least one week in advance. VI. Approval for Posters and Other Publicity Materials on Campus. Posters, displays, or other forms of publicity which students or student groups wish to use or display in any campus buildings or on the campus must be approved by the Director of Space Assignment and Utilization. No display, banners, etc., are permitted, except those specifically approved by the Director of Space Assignment and Utilization, upon recommendation by the Dean of Students. A. Posters and display cards approved for campus bulletin boards must not exceed 11 x 14 inches in size. B. Banners displayed on the Pentacrest will be limited to events of an all-campus nature, such as Homecoming, Spring Festival etc. VII. Policy for Soliciting, Selling, and Distributing on Campus. It is University policy to permit recognized student organizations to solicit voluntary contributions for purposes consistent with the aims of the organization as stated in its constitution and to distribute or sell literature, tickets, buttons. etc, on the campus providing permission for the activity is obtained in advance from the Office of Student Affairs. Forms for this purpose are provided in that office and approval must be obtained at least one week before the event takes place. CHAPTER XI - CENTRAL PARTY AND ENTERTAINMENT COMMITTEE The Central Party and Entertainment Committee, established and authorized by the Committee on Student Life, is responsible for sponsoring and generally supervising all All-University parties and popular entertainments for which admission is charged. I. 1955-67 Schedule Homecoming Dance - Saturday, October 22, 1966 Dad's Day Concert- Saturday, November 12, 1966 Mother's Day Concert- Saturday may 6, 1967 Popular concerts and entertainments will be scheduled as talent is available. Functions A. The Committee shall manage and promote all the above events, except that it will supervise, and the Student Union Board will sponsor the Homecoming Dance; Omicron Delta Kappa, the Dad's Day Concert; and the Associated Women Students, the Mother's Day Concert. B. The Committee shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Committee [22]
