17. 17. UNION SQUARE CRITICISM------WEEK OF SEPT. 30th, 1907. THE WALTERS. Comedy Sketch. This is only a fair act. Their talk is very poor, and I had to cut several very vulgar words out. The woman is only fair, and she can't sing. The man holds up the best part of the act having a very good voice. They finish with a duet in one, boy singing from box. Went fair. 16 minutes, full stage and close in one. Three shows. BURNS AND MILLER Comedy acrobatic Act. A fair act. Both good acrobats, but the comedy part is poor, otherwise it is a good three a day act. Went fair. 8 minutes, full stage. Three shows. LE DENT. Comedy juggler. This fellow does a very good act. His comedy is excellent, and all his tricks are good. I am sure XX it would be strong enough for the two a day. went very well. 14 minutes in one. Three shows. WEBSTERS AND CARLTON In "Her Beau." A fair act. All aright for the three shows. went fair. 20 minutes, full stage. Three shows. JULIA RALPH This woman does a fair act, and it is worth the money I am paying her. She cant sing. Gives a few XXXXXXXXXXXX Burlesque imitations which are only fair. Went fair. 12 minutes in one. Three shows. PETCHING BROS. Presenting the original "Music Flower Garden." This act always makes good, as it is well known as being one of our best musical acts. Went very well. 17 minutes, full stage and close in one. Two shows. FRED WATSON AND MORRISEY SISTERS. Vaudeville Ideals. One of the best acts of its kind in Vaudeville. They make a very neat appearance, costumes are very beautiful. Good singers and very good dancers. Went big. 18 minutes in one. ELIZABETH MURRAY In songs and stories. I think that this woman is one of the cleverest in her line of work in the business, and to my judgement she gets away with the coon song better than Clarice Vance. Went big. 15 minutes in one. be a winner. went very big, full stage. AVERY AND HART. Colored Comedians. This act is very well known, and always makes good. Went big. 21 minutes in one. FIVE PIROSCOFFIS. European Novelty Jugglers. First appearance at this house. Consider this one of the best juggling acts I heave ever seen in some time. Three men and two women. They are all very clever and they are all very neatly dressed. Went very big. 14 minutes, full stage. KINETOGRAPH. An Interrupted Card Party. Very interesting. The Blacksmith's Revenge. Good. The Burglar. Good Comedy film. NOTE. The show this week is very good. There is plentty of comedy on the bill, and everything ran very smooth, and it is much better than last week's show. Reed Albee,
