20 Columbus, Show Week Sept. 30th - 1907 S. [[?]] S. [[?]] Frosser.[[?]] CMIRE[[?]] & KESDNER: " The Bellboy & The Maid. " -- A not sufficiently well known to require no comment except to say that it made good in every sense of the term. -- He is an unusually capable acrobat, accomplishing quite a number of very clever stunts. -- he is a good dancer and all in all the team is well worth while. -- Finished strong and made very good opener. 16 minutes C. D. Oak. DOROTHY KENTON: " The Girl With The Banjo." -- This girl plays well enough and makes a very pretty appearance but for some reason or other just managed to bet by. -- It seems to me that she should have gone stronger out for some unaccountable reason she did not. -- 9 minutes in one. BRUNO & RUSSELL: Man and woman: " The Insurance Agent. " -- A good comedy act and one that won many laughs. -- Their method is quiet but they make good from first to last. -- Finished as well as could be desired. C. D. F. -- 18 minutes. CHAS BRADSHAW & CO: Sketch: " Fix In A Fix" -- Four people: Two men ; two women: -- The theme is " Motherinlaw" -- The star is a good comedian. -- The set drags a little in the early part of the [[?]] but eventually works up considerably and finishes fine for laughing purposes. -- Bradshaw and his coworkers deserve great credit for doing as well as they did here for when a sketch makes good in this house something out of the ordinary has been accomplished. -- The various roles are interpreted satisfactorily and we have not had anything that made them laugh more for some time. D. D. F. 26 minutes. ROSE DRHAVEN[[?]] SEFTETTS[[?]]: -- Just a "girl not." -- Aside fromthe the hard show dancing finish and the piano playing of Miss Dellaven[[?]] the act was among " and others." -- Nothing especially wrong about the sent -- simply is a towa[[?]] where the best girl acts in in the business are worth about $100.00 per week to us. -- It looked like a distinch[[?]] fall down until the finish but they finally won out and saved themselves. -- Personally I think the act is good of its kind but patrons here don't seem to care for this style of offering. Garden 26 minutes. GEORGE H. WOOD: At both of yesterday's performances, the hit of the bill. -- He has a good speaking voice and a line of material that is a mixture of humor and philosphy. -- He known how to tell his stuff also how to make it reach home. -- For a single act of its style Wood has the distinction of making one of the most substantial hits ever known here. 21 minutes in one. WOTRERT[[?]] TRIO: -- Three men : Acrobats and balancers: They doe unusuallygood work and must be credited with making a very decided success. Palace -- 9 minutes. PICTURES[[?]]: A Kind Grandfather: The Window Cleaner: -- Just fair.
