Columbus, Show Week Oct. 7th. -- 1907 --- W. W. Prosser. THE MOZARTS -- " The German Cobbler " -- Man and woman, -- Comedy act. Man sings and dances some. Woman does several dances all passably well. The set opens in special set in two showing cobbler's shop then goes to exterior showing snow scene. -- Here is introduced show shoe dancing by both not especially well done. -- The set is not as good as it was last season and just managed to get by. -- Don't care to have it again. 12 minutes. HARRY JOLSON: Blackface comedian. -- Just a fair act the first part of which could well be entirely obliterated. -- There is nothing startling about anything he does and were it not for his burlesque opera singing the act would be a failure. -- As it is he opens by making no impression to speak of and closes fairly well. -- 17 minutes. in one. FREDERICK BOND & CO. Comedy sketch Handkerchief No I5. -- This is quite a good act and it secured numerous laughs. -- Bond and Fremont Benton are both very capable and their support consisting of another man and woman was acceptable. -- Tis the old story of the Mother--inLaw ". Nothing original about it but same goes very well especially for a sketch. 26 minutes. Interior. KELLY & ROSE: An excellent singing set but it did not go as well as it should have for some reason or other. -- Both have unusually good voi voices and they know how to use them. -- 16 minutes in one. THREE MACARTE SISTERS: Combination of music, dancing, and wire work. All of it is good and the girls went very well. -- In fact was quite a hit. 13 minutes Palace. Nullen & Correlli: These boys are working in one and get away with it to the entire satisfaction of their auditors. Very meritorious acrobatic comedy act. 12 minutes. FULLMAN PORTER MAIDS: Introducing MeMahon and Chapelle: -- By far the best girl act we have ever had in the house. -- The girls sing fairly well and dance nicely. -- They are well drilled and work well together. As for the principals they secured as many laughs in the same lenght of time as any act that has ever played the house. -- The act was a distinct hit. -- 25 minutes special set. PICTURES O.K.
