CLEVELAND, OHIO Oct. 14 '07. BARRY & WOLFORD-- Mand and woman in one. 13 min. Parodies with old time tunes. Talking bright and makes a hit. Fair act. Fair applause. HARRY JOLSON-- In one. 14 min. Black-face comedian with an operatic voice. Mr. Jolsen has a very singing voice. His jokes are only fair. Imitations very good. The audience liked this act. BROS. PERMANE[?]-- Palace in four. 11 min. European occentriques[?]. Original acrobatic work. Comedy very fine. Their novelty [[?]] the act entitled "The Nightingale's Courtship" is a great whistling feature and scored a genuine hit. AMELIA SUMMERVILLE-- In one. 18 min. Miss Summerville still appears very young and charming, and her pleasing personality helps her act greatly. She sings three catchy songs and talks a little. While she makes no big bit, still she would be a pleasing addition to any bill. EDWARD CONNELLY & CO. -- "In"[[?]] Covington," By Goo. Ade. Interior in three. 32 min. I believe this is the best playlist in vaudeville. While it is highly sentimental it rings true, and holds the audience spell-bound. It certainly was the hit of the bill this afternoon, the people calling the cast back several times. ROSE DE HAVEN SEPTETTE-- Open in one. Change to F. S. [[?]]. set. 27 min. This is a dancing operetta, and is really condensed musical comedy, with fascinating dances being featured all the time. The girls make frequent change of costume, and present a very gorgeous appearance. The act is a little too long, but the audience seems to like it in spite of its great length. OTTO BROS. -- In one. 12 min. Dutch talking, fair; dancing great. Their song imitations the best ever. Called back four times. BATTY'S TEDDY BEARS -- F. S. woods. 13 min. 3 Bears. Two assistance, and Batty. The bears entertain the audience thoroughly by their tricking; the animals however, are not particularly well trained and are practically led through most of their stunts. however, it must be admitted that they made a hit, especially with the women and children. KINETOGRAPH-- The Dioppa[[?]] Automobile Races. Very exciting film which held most of the audience in their seats.
