#3.- Phila. [[underline[[GORTESQUE [[?]][[end underline]],Acre:- 12 min. F. S. 3 shows, on at 6:38. This is a rather pretentious act. Man and woman, carrying their own drop, the man appearing in grotesque costume of Chinaman and woman in acrobatic attire. Open with one singing which is not particularly impressive, and proceed to some trapeze work and tumbling which is good. This is another three-a day acts[?] that is safe for a spot not so prominent. [[underline]]EDDIE COLLINS[[end underline]]:-Boy-wonder:- 12 min. 3 shows. On at 6:50 this little chap is certainly which he advertises himself to be,- "a little wonder" having a voice of phenomenal clearness and strength. Sang three songs, and got big hand for each one. Closed very well. GENERAL REMARKS:- This show is a good one, with the exception perhaps too great a predominance of singing and dancing. The [[?]] got a great ovation, HARRY [[?]] got by very well and [[?]] HOFFMANN likewise just about meeting her billing. it will draw for the balance of this week no doubt.- With a little revision the show runs better;- Through an oversight a report on KITTY MORRIS was left out in this week's criticism on the Philadelphia show:- KITTY MORRIS:- 10 min. in 1. 3 shows. On at 6:48. Coming after Tom Moore, coon shouter, this act fell short. She has the conception of a coon song all right, but her voice by no means fills this house, so that in the vocal straining, her words are unintelligible. Received very little applause and went off to a weak hand. Very truly yours, KEITE'S, Phila. Oct. 23, 1907.
