H. S. Hastings. CLEVELAND, OHIO. Oct. 31 '07. MOZARTS-FRED & EVA Open in one special set. Close in four. Special act. Singing, talking and dancing. Their comedy is awful. Their showshoe dancing feature is novel and takes very well. 12 min. JOE DEMMING In one. 13 minutes. Singing and talking. Mr. Demming[?] works hard, but does not quite seem to get "There". I cannot pick out any particular weak spot in Mr. Demming's work, but the [[?]] he got this afternoon should be easily counted. THE SANETTOS[[?]] Three men, full stage. 11 min. This is a fast skillful and entirely novel juggling act. The Zannettes[[?]] have the right idea for vaudeville and keep things hustling every second they were on the stage. Their act could be featured on any bill. This afternoon they came close to being the big hit of the bill. BEATRICE McKENZIE[?] AND WALTER SHANNON & CO. 20 min. In two, [[?]] out. This is really a singing act which is billed as a sketch. The principles have pleasing personalities and both of them sing unusually well. The act is above the average and ought to go well on any bill early in the show. ADOLPH ZINK[[?]] Lillipution comedian. 20 min. in one. Zink's act is well known, comment unnecessary. He made his act [[?]] big hit here this afternoon. BERT HOWARD & LEONA BLAND. F. S. 39 minutes. Presenting "The Sage Manager". This team has not been here for much a long time that Clevelandore[?] have almost forgotten them. Both Howard and Blaand are extremely clever artists and the audience was thoroughly entertained. Without the doubt this set was the hit of our show. Several enchores were called for. AVERY AND HART Coons. In one, 21 minutes. These are two very good coons who are evidently a bit new to the vaudeville [[?]] as, [[?]] they have some great material which goes big. One member of the team is a very funny fellow and has one of the best singing voices I have ever heard. The act is entirely too long and could be shortened five or ten minutes to advantage. [[?]] AND SOHN F. S. 18min. This is a trully wonderful equiliristic feature, introducing the boy Urbani who is undoubtedly the best trained athelete in the world. His feats would do credit to a professional of years standing. The audience fairly lent their hands over this [[?]] youngster. I feel safe in recommending the act without limitations.
