KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE (Cont'd) GEORGIE LAURENCE & COMPANY (Cont'd) The story, Miss Mc Cobb flirts with a young chauffer. He comes to her finger renovating apartments and proposes marriage before she learned anything further about his cognomen[[?]] than it begins with George. Presently her professional rival, the chiropodist lady, calls and informs her that her gentleman friend has gone back on her. His name is George. The ladies fall to, they pull each others hair in handfuls, smash bonnets, then in quick succession come conciliation, regrets and reconciliation. There are two Georges, and both of them are chauffers and they are not the same. MAGGIE CLINE "The Irish Queen" Some little advance applause. Mag is ageing very rapidly, her voice is failing. Can anybody imagine the Irish Queen singing that beautiful ballad entitled "Bye Bye Dearie". If it were not for the assistance of the boy in the box and the audience she would have fallen into the name of "Mephieto". They stood for it and they finally compelled her to sing "Throw 'Em Down, M'Cluskey" and with the assistance of the stage hands, including our property man who is a bigger hit than Meg, she did fairly well. 21 Min in 1. PHANTASTIC PHANTOME With Hilarion and Rosalia Ceballos assisted by Samuel Mint. Quite a novel black art act. Six fairly good looking ladies, who dance nicely while the acrobats were strongly applauded. The skeleto dance on the finish gets a few laughs, but it is certainly the weirdest effect imaginable. At the price it is a juicy lemon. KINETOGRAPH A Race for Millions Good
