CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE OCTOBER 28, 1907. NOTE:- The show is simply "great". The best we ever had or ever will have, containing plenty of novelty, new faces, well balanced and not a dull moment. Business jumped skyward on the start-off. Mr. Chapin made a tremendous hit at both performances. MAX DUFEK Musical Contortionist. An excellent opening act. All of his tricks greatly appreciated. Big applause on his finish. 9 min. close in one about 4 min. MR. & MRS. ARTHUR FORBES Presenting her comedy "A Wild Rose", with a good company. Rather tame on the opening but shortly after developes into a fairly good comedy. Securing some strong laughs. 25 Min. Full Stage. BASQUE QUARTETTE Well known. Selections excellent. Strong applause after each number and the applause hit the show up to this time. 13 Min. in one. MR. MAX YORK'S DOGS Well trained troupe of Fox Terriers. This man certainly made a hit this afternoon, securing big applause with plenty of laugh.s The dogs work admirably. 8 min. in one. JULIAN KLTINGE[?] Big advance applause with good applause after each song. An artist. Big hit. 12 Min. in one. HAYES & JOHNSON In their talking comedy "A Dream of Baby Days". This act is certainly good value for the money. It remains about the same as when presented before. They scored big throughout with several curtain calls. 30. min. full stage. 4 Min. in one,
