Phila.- 2. [[underline]]Mme ZELIE de LUSSAN[[end underline]],Prima Donna:- 14 min. in 2. 2 shows. On at 8:42. A great artiste to her very finger-tips and her topmost note. More than that, Madame knows what a general audience like this requires. Her two classic songs and two simple English-ballad encores (new here) were perfect selections for Vaudeville, and she sang them faultlessly and with irresistible charm. A wonderful voice and a wonderful woman. Regard her advent in Vaudeville of signal importance. She will draw very strong for the balance of the week. Closed well with two curtain calls. [[underline]]WYNN & LEWIS[[end underline]], "Sophomore and freshman":- 19 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 8:56. Advance hand. These are Philadelphia boys, consequently their work stronger than otherwise would have been. They have some very amusing material and make excellent use of it. Closed very strong with two curtain calls. It is a shame that these boys cannot patch up their differences and remain together, as they are certain to duplicate the success of Smith and Campbell as a nationally famous team, although at the present time in many respects their work is better than their latter. [[underline]]MARCEL'S PICTURES[[end underline]],Living art-studies:- 30 min. F S. 2 shows. On at 9:15. These art studies are very beautiful, and think that the revival will take well with the public. The lightning and artistic afects are stunning, and each one of them got a good hand, two or three of them a very strong hand, particularly the Angelus, Sicily, and Washington at Valley Forge. Think it will draw well with our crowds. Free particularly favorable toward them this morning. [[underline]]STELLA MAYHEW[[end underline]],assisted by Billee Taylor:- 20 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 9:35. Advance hand. Makes a pleasing presentation. Got the crowd from the first with some very good songs and burlesque imitations. Won a good hand for each one of her efforts. Closed big, and gave as an encore a smoking-song. She will surely draw business this week. POLLY PICKLES' PETS IN PETLAND:- 14 min. F. S. 2 shows. On at 9:55. This act is well known on the circuit and is a welcome one to this house. it is one of the best children's features in Vaudeville. Made just as big a hit as previously, and will draw well. [[underline]]CLIFF GORDON[[end underline]],"German politician":- 15 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 10:09. Just as heavy a laughing hit as ever. Lot of new material and it all went big. The roars of laughter stopped the show twice. This man could hold any spot on any bill. He stands quite alone in his line. [[underline]]CAMILLE TRIO[[end underline]], Comedy bar-act:- 7 min. F.S. 2 shows. On at 10:24. This is the best of the triple car, knockabout acts. Great feats and great fun. It is a scream from start to finish. A rousing closing hand.
