CLEVELAND, OHIO NOV. 4 '07. N.S.Hastings FIVE ENGLISH MADCAPS. Palace in 4.Five girls. Time 13min.This is a dainty act introducing, acrobatic stunts, handsprings, some dancing, and a little good sing. The girls work fast and hold the attention of the people. The act looked very good to me;but the audience did not give it much applause. ELIZABETH MURRAY In One.Time 11 min. This is a great dialect singing feature, introducing the Irish, the Dutch and the Negro.Miss Murray's manner is quiet and highly refined. She was one of the big hits of the show, taking three genuine bows. Grant GARDNER & Marie STODDARD. C.D.F. Close in One. Time 19 min. This is a pleasing sketch-setting for a travesty of certain types seen on the vaudeville stage. Both members of the team are born entertainers and the great part of their material is very good. Some few lines are stale. The audience liked them very much. LIND. Special fancy set in 4. Female impersonator. Time 10 Min. Lind is undoubtedly clever and puts on a gorgeous act;but our audience did not like him.Very little applause. George Felix and Lydia Barry (Assisted by Emily Barry) Interior in 4.Time 25 minutes.Singing dancing and eccentrique tumbling by Felix. The act is bright and entertaining;but has no definite character, being a series of specialties. It scored well with our audience. CHARLES E EVANS & CO. Time 17 Min. Five people.Interior in 4.Presenting "it's Up To You,William For pure farce this sketch would be hard to beat. It is one scream from start to finish, and the company presents it finely. The big hit of the show, without question. HOWARD & NORTH. Two men.In One.Time 17 minutes.Presenting "Those Were Happy Days" One of the best and brightest sketches in vaudeville. While fun is the predominate characteristic, there is a touch of true pathos which comes in very effectively and which brings a burst of applause from the audience. This act is good any time on any bill. KITBANZAI JAPS F.S. Special, elaborate drop. This well known troupe of Japanese acrobats and jugglers appears to please more than ever. Besides being clever performers they put some good humorous stuff into their act which keeps the audience in good humor. They do the regular line of Jap stunts which make very good closers to hold the people in their seats. There is nothing particularly wonderful about their work, but there is no doubt that they pleased well this afternoon. THE KINETOGRAPH.
