Report on Columbus Show -- Week November 4th. -- 07. W. W. Prosser. THE KEMPS[[?]]: " Arizono" -- still and moving pictures representing a trip through Arizona. -- A very artistic act and one of unusual interest. -- The pictures are beautifully colored and the talk in connection with same proves strong enough to hold attention throughout. All in all this act is one of merit and it went well. 18 minutes in one. FETCHING BROS: A Garden of Music. -- Two men in a very novel and good musical act. -- They play several numbers using corsets[[?]], bells, musical flower pots etc. -- The act went big and must be recorded as having made a very substantial hit. -- The setting is elaborate and pretty and out of the ordinary. -- There is nothing remarkable about their music or the way it is played but the manner of introducing thesame makes a favorable impression. They finished strong and took a recall or two. 19 minutes special set. LE BRUN GRAND OPERA TRIO: Womandn two men, all of whom are accomplished singers. -- They sing Il Trovatore condensed and they sing it well enough to prove a hit if the first water. -- The work is done in costime and with special scenery. -- Nothing of the high class order has gone better here. Would term this act of value here and believe that it will draw the musical people of the city in. Opens in one, closes garden 4. 15 minutes. BERTIE HERRON: She tells a few stories, sings a song, then blacks up in view of audience and does a minstrel and man, -- This girl went as well as any thing on the bill and in fact tonight received more applause than any one. -- Looks as though she will be a bright light for the week. 15 minutes in one. FRED WALTON & CO: -- " Cissie's Dream" -- A corking good act and one that went excellently. -- The work of Walton is especially worthy of favorable comment. -- He is an artist and won many a laugh for his clever pantomime work. -- His support is O. K. -- This set will no doubt create talk on account of its novelty. Opens in two goes to four closes in two. 28 minutes. HOEY[[?]] & LEA: Hebrew comedians: Quite clever but did not seem o go but passably well. -- However they got by nicely and were by no means a failure or a weak spot on the bill. -- Singing and talking rapid. 16 minutes in one. WILLS & HASSAN: Equilibrists: Two men: This set scored a heavily as anything of a similar character that has every played in this house. They do work that is all good and they do it about as easily and in as finished a manner as could be desired. -- Notwithstanding the fact that the show is a trifle long. they held the interest from the first to the last of their work and many punctuations of applause was given them for their efforts. -- There is nothing ordinary about them and unlike many performers in their line they neither pose or "fourflush." -- There is something doing all of the time they are on the stage. -- 11 minutes Palace 5. Picture: The Dieppe[[?] Circuit: -- O. K.
