PITTSBURG, PA. GRAND OPERA HOUSE OCTOBER 25th, 07 [[underline[[THE ECCAVERS[[?]][[end underline]]- 15 minutes. Clio. 3 shows. Colored singing and dancing act. Just about gets by. [[underline]][[?]] HOWISON[[end underline]]-11 minutes, olio. 3 shows. Imitations of birds and animals. This is not a good act. [[underline]]HAGAN & WESTCOTT[[end underline]]- 15 minutes, olio. 3 shows. singing and talking act. Does very well in the three a day section. [[underline]]FREDERICK & LAROSE[[end underline]]-12 minutes, wood. 3 shows. Novelty wire act. Very good for the three a day section. [[underline]]MORROW & SCHELLBERG- 3[[?]] shows. 14 minutes, special in one. Sketch. This is a very ordinary act and I would not care to play it on a bill later than eight o'clock. The laughing song of [[?]] morrow goes fairly well. Aside from this there is very little to the act. [[underline]]EXPOSITION FOUR[[end underline]] - 18[[?]] minutes, open full stage, interior, closing in one three minutes. This act is well known all over the circuit. All I can say is-they are just as big a hit as ever. [[underline]]ELIZABETH MURRAY[[end underline]] 13 minutes, olio in one. Miss Murray is doing very well for us. She has much better material than she has had for some time and I think she would be all right on any bill. [[underline]]LALLA[[?]] SELBINI[[end underline]] in a little of everything; bicycle riding, singing and dancing. A very good act which I think would be much improved for vaudeville audiences if her costume were changed as it is better fitted for a burlesque show than refined vaudeville. [[underline]]VILLAGE CHOIR[[end underline]]- 15 minutes in one. A big hit. [[underline]]ROBT. HILLIARD & CO[[end underline]]- in "As a Man Sows[". 23 minutes. I think this is among Mr. Hilliard's best acts. He is going very well, taking several curtain calls at each performance. [[underline]]CLIFFORD & BURKE[[?]][[end underline]]- 18[[?]] minutes. Black face singing, dancing and talking. Going very good. they are singing "Nobody" and while it is a little ancient, it is one of the hits of their act. [[underline]]THE ZANETTOS-[[end underline]] 15 minutes, full stage, wood, in a novelty juggling act with most of the members made up as Japs. One of the best acts of the kind we have ever played - lots of laughing, in fact considerable comedy. [[underline]][[?]]BANI & SON[[end underline]]- 12 minutes, palace. This act is well known to most of the managers on the circuit. I consider it one of the best acts of the kind we have ever played. They received great applause on every trick and caused considerable talk outside. I will be glad to play them a return. John P. Harris.
