Temple Nov. 4, 1907. Detroit GREAT SCOTT. Juggling and mandolin playing while standing on top of an unsupported ladder. A fine act that will create considerable talk. 11 min. in 2. A. B. C. D. GIRLS. Four sisters who appear in songs, dances and comedy. Very good act particularly for a No. 2 position. Would add strength to most any bill. 11 min. in one. MARZELLA'S BIRDS. The best bird act on the stage, and an act that will excite great interest among the women and children of the matinees. 20 min. FS. Rosaire & Doreto. Comedy acrobatic ala Rice & Prevost. Just about as good as the originators, and better taken into consideration the money paid. 10 min. FS. SEARL & VIOLET ALLEN CO. Presenting "The travelling Man." Very good comedy act but would be better if Searl Allen would allow his voice to travel. It is difficult to follow him. 17 min. with special drop. MAYME GEHRUE & CO. Giving us for the first time the Ed. Day playlet "June." Miss Gehrue has surrounded herself with an excellent company, and while she will never be an actress, her voice always pitched to a strident key, the act is good and pleasing all the way. 30 min. FS. BESSIE WYNN. Miss Wynn was the sensation of the bill. She received at least a half dozen curtain calls, and the audience was loth to let her go. She brought new songs and new business. 17 min. in one. Gennaro's Venetian Condolier's Band. This is a fine act for vaudeville and one that is bound to create talk. Gennaro works like Creatore only more pronounced and the 25 members of his band are excellent musicians. 32 min. FS. KINETOGRAPH. Pictures of Naples and Vesuvius are fine and are particularly appropriate coming immediately after the Italian band, which has a special drop of Venice and the grand canal.
