columbus Show Week Nov. 11th. ) 1907. ------- W. W. Prosser CARLILE'S DONIES[[?]] & DOGS: Quite a clever act of its kind, especially the work of the pont Tom who makes a hit with his answers to various questions from his master and members of the audience. -- The act finished very well for an opener. 21 Minutes garden set. MORROW & SHELLBURG: Man and woman, singing act, Happy's Million. Special drop representing street in western town. The laughing song of the male member of the team went well but that is about all that can be said for this act. -- There is nothing out of the ordinary about either member of the team and the audience did not care much about them. -- The story of the act is but a slender thread and of no consequence. 12 minutes in one. THE KINSONS: Two men; Musical oddity " Going It Blind.2 -- A very capable pair. One plays the instruments and the other does some most excellent imitations of same. -- These fellows went big and received a liberal amount of applause. -- C. D. F. 18 minutes. MAYME GEHRUS & CO: A distinct falldown so far as the act is concerned. The audience here did not care for same in fact many of same ridiculed it. Were it not for the dancing of Miss Gehune[[?]] there would have been nothing to save it from positive failure. -- It is overdrawn, western in scene, called " June" which title role is played by Miss Gehrue. -- She amounts to little in the line of acting and judging from her reception here was not well thought of. -- If she had worked alone and in one, singing a song and intruducing her unquestionably excellent dancing she would no doubt have scored heaving. -- Dancing O. K. but aside from that there was nothing doing. 30 minutes. Special set 5. ELIZABETH MURRAY: The hit of the bill easily. -- She tells no stories makes good with sings, Irish, German, and Coon. -- She seems to be a favorite here and goes big. 12 minutes in one. SHERMAN, DEFOREST & CO: The Battle of San Dago: -- Well known act and it won a lot of laughshere. 16 minutes special set. MARTINETTI & SYLVESTER: Excellent acrobatic comedt act. -- Two one one straight the other comedy. -- Made a favorable impression but did not finish as strong as their early work seemed to indicate they would. This set is O. K. however and get by nicely. PICTURES: O. K.
