N. S. Hastings. CLEVELAND, OHIO. Nov. 25 '07. AERIAL SMITHS Man & woman. F.S. Time 10 Min. A fast and hard working pair Introduce several new trapeze tricks. Their act is neat and effective and closes especially strong. CARRIE BEHR. In One. Time 7 minutes. Miss Behr is personally attractive on the stage but her act is one of the coldest "frosts" we have had for some time. Her singing is impossible. One little bit where she does some yodling is passable. REIFF BROTHERS In 3. Time 19 min. This act made a big hit. The men open with a medley of old popular favorites, and sandwich in some very smooth dancing. The the songs are dropped and the men get down to straight dancing, with and without the orchestra. They are very clever and hold the audience better than any straight dancing act I have ever seen. FRANK FOGARTY "The Dublin Minstrel." In One. Time 14 min. Mr Fogarty opens and closes with knockout songs. In between he keeps the audience screaming with Irish stories, which are good, new, and of a high order of wit. His manner of delivery is especially funny. He is the best monologist we have had for a long time. 3 encores. THE COUNTRY CHOIR In One. Time 11 min. 2 men, 2 women. An "advanced" act. Boisterous singing, with little applause and many a "sour" note. We are unlucky with quartettes and our usual luck kept up this week. CLAYTON WHITE AND MARIE STUART & CO Beside principals, man and woman in juvenile roles. Time 31 minutes. Interior. Appearing in George V. Hobart's "Cherrie." At last White and Stuart have made a genuine hit in Cleveland. for some reason they have never been well received here. But this afternoon they were both excellently bast, and the audience thoroughly enjoyed every minute of their long sketch. "Cherrie" is great. Brim full of flash-comedy. JOE WELCH In One. 15 Minutes. Another recent addition. About half the time, Welch made good, but much of his material didn't appear to get more than a smile. In my opinion his act is neither as artistic nor as funny as that being presented by Ben Welch. FUTURITY WINNER Delayed by R.R. wreck. The Three Herberts (Substituted.) F.S. Time 10 minutes. A conventional acrobatic act which held most of the audience in their seats. The act made good, although not what could be termed a strong closing act. THE KINETOGRAPH.
