107. Report on Columbus Show Week December 2nd. -- 1907. W. W. Prosser. CLARA BALLERINI: Gymnast on the flying trapeze: This woman does a very good act of its kind and was favorably received. Made a very good opener. 10 minutes terrace. THE COUNTRY CHOIR: Quartet: two men two women. -- Individually the voices do not sound so well but the ensemble work is satisfactory and they got away with the two position satisfactorily. -- Were rewarded for their work at the finish by strong hand. 11 minutes in one. PAULTON & DOOLEY: Comedy bicyclists: This is an act of unquestioned merit and they fared well at the hands of the audience. -- Received many laughs and showed some work that was really worth while. -- Think this a very good act and believe that it would have gone much stronger had not the Baker Troupe been on the bill last week. 11 minutes Garden. FRANK FOGARTY: A very clever fellow and one who had a hard time getting them started but finally landed strong and received a strong recall. He works fast and it looked at first as though he was too rapid for them but they finally caught his gait and style and he got away nicely with decided credit to himself. 14 minutes olio. WILLIARD SIMMS & CO. "Comedy sketch: "Flinders Furnished Flat" Simms went better here this time than he did last season and I believe that he will prove a laughing hit before the week is out. -- a senseless sort of offering but one that secured many a laugh. 28 minutes. C. D. F. JACK WILSON & CO. Singers and dancers. -- Two men one woman. All blackface. -- This act went well. One man has a good voice which he uses to advantage. -- The comedy of the other fellow was fairly good and the woman makes a pleasing appearance. -- All in all the act was satisfactory 18 minutes in one. PAUL CONCHAS: A well known act and one that is certainly great. Nothing like the work he does has ever been seen here before and he made the solid unquestioned hit that his work deserves. -- There is no reason that this act should not cause a lot of favorable comment and it ought to draw. 24 minutes wood. Pictures: O. K.
