would justify her work to-day which may be said to just about get by in the headliners class, for the public expects a great deal more of a woman of her reputation and figure. As the Inquirer says this morning, "Miss Levey is not progressing as she should." URBANI & SON, Athletic-act:- 7 Min. F.S. 2 shows. On at 9:59. Advance hand. Second week. The same difficult stunts brilliantly done. Went well as before An act that is talked about. FRIEND & DOWNING, Conversational Com:- 16 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 10:06. These people just about held this spot. Their line of talk is about the same as when presented here before, but went rather slow. The songs caught on fairly well, and gave them a small closing hand, but no curtain call. Think they will pull up stronger later, as one of the pair has a bad cold and is working against odds. They held this spot strong before, and can do so again. LUIGI ROSSI and HORSE:- 13 min. F.S. 2 shows. On at 10:22. this is a very showy and circus-like act. It has much improved in finish since it was last offered here. The stage-setting, costuming and paraphernalia are all bright and pleasing. The work of the trained horse received good applause for every stunt and made a favorable finish. This is a good closing act, and particularly for the children. KINETOGRAPH:- MR. INQUISITIVE:-An excellent comedy film and one that we have been trying to get for some time. THE RIDING SCHOOL:- French military academy series, and very skilful and showy. Any body that likes horses will like this. JANE IS FURIOUS:- Fair comedy. Altogether the KINETOGRAPH offering is above the ordinary. MAX DUFFEK, Mus. Acro:- 10 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 6:30 in Place of the La Maze Brothers. It is the same act as previously presented here and worthy of a good spot. DeCHAUNT'S DOGS:- 10 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 6:40. Practically the same act as presented here before. Four fox terriers doing several stunts, including regulations somersault, high jump, etc., combined with De Chaunt's acrobatic work. Good act for an early spot. INNES & RYAN:- 17 min. in 1. 3 shows. On at 6:50. Man and woman, making fair presentation. Have poor line of talk. three changes of costume. Got only small closing hand. GENERAL REMARKS:-Of course, coming after the tremendous holiday bill of last week, this show seems something like a settling down. However, there were no complaints on that score, and whereas the press and the public realized that we could not keep up the jubilee pace of last week, the bill is nevertheless, as one of the papers said, "a big money's worth."-- 2.
