(3) Sam Brooks and Rose Jeanette. On at 5.09, 17 min, in 1; show shows. All right as a 3-a-day. In my opinion, they could get away with an early spot in any of the small houses. Lowell B. Drew. On at 5.26, 12 min, in 1. This young man formerly worked with Cressy in his acts and is now doing a series of impersonations of well known vaudeville favorites. For his last character he blacks up in front of the audience, steps into the wings a moment and re-appears as George Evens, whom he imitates capitally. With a little more experience I think that this youngster will be heard from. Cuts: Bailey and Fletcher. Instructed to have "wench" keep skirts down. Bruno and Russell. Cut "She slept along in the garret" squib. Brooks and Jeanette. Reference to "company's coming" and subsequent scratching. Marie Lloyd. Requested to cut "They keep them in flats" verse in "Customs of the Country" song. Comment. I consider this a very good show indeed, but feel that the business will depend largely on whether or not Lloyd catches on with the Bostonians.
