134 134 PITTSBURG, PA GRAND OPERA HOUSE. NOV. 12th, 07. MACK & WEST- Black face comedians in one. 12 min. 3 shows. A very fair act for the continuous houses. ANNIE & MAUD KRAMER- in a comedy sketch- "Flap Jack Sal" Full stage, interior, 17 minutes. An exceptionally good act-doing three shows. MAYBELLE MEEKIN - 3 shows. Olio in two, 9 minutes. Singing and dancing. Very good for three shows. REIFF BROS- 12 min. Streer. Singing and dancing act. I consider it the best of the kind in the business, They are very neat dressers and always go big with us. MAYME GEHRUE & CO- in "June". 25 min. A fair act played very badly. Would not care to play it a repeat. WILLA HOLT WAKEFIELD- Song readings in one, 12 minutes. This lady was a big hit with us. This is the second time we have played her and I do not hesitate to say that she gets as much applause as anything we play in one and it is a great surprise to me that she does not get more work. Her salary is reasonable and her act is good. PAUL CONCHAS- 20 minutes, full stage. This act is too well known to need any extended criticism. He is a bigger hit with us during this engagement than he has ever been before. In my opinion no one compares with him. MR. & MRS. KEMP "Arizona". 18 minutes, picture sheet in one. Very interesting lecture and something of a novelty for vaudeville. KATIE BARRY- 14 minutes, street in one. Miss Barry just got by with us and I think it will be some time before we care to play her again. BRADNA & DERRICK- Novelty Equestrian act. Garden- 14 minutes, A very neat act and went very well with our audience. TIK MCMAHAN'S PORTER MAIDS. Time of act 24 minutes. open in one four minutes, special drop. Close in one 4 minutes. There is very little to the Porter Maids and if it were not for the work of MCMahan Chappelle in one the act would fall flat. However, they are both very clever people and they make the act a very fair offering. JOHN P. HARRIS.
