149. CRITICISM KEITH & PROCTOR'S 125TH STREET THEATRE DECEMBER 30 1907 FRED ZOBEDIE Equilibrist. Young man of pleasing personality presenting a balancing act of rare type. The general character of the act is quite novel and his work excellent. Eight Minutes Full STAGE RUTH ALLEN & CO. In the comedy "We Need the Money". The company includes Miss Allen and three men. An excellent vehicle, interesting, with a vein of humor running through it. Secured quite a number of laughs and finished to a good strong hand. Miss Allen is very clever and is fairly well supported. Twenty-four Minutes Full Stage AULI & HEALY Two young men of pleasing personality presenting a talking, singing and dancing act. The talking and singing has a great chance for improvement, their main feature being the clog dancing which is fairly good and carried them off with good applause. Fourteen Minutes in One. [???]IN'S DOGS Well known. Applause hit of the show up to this time. Ten Minutes Full Stage. [JO]HNNY JONES Blackface singing comedian. This man's pleasing manner with good parodies made him a favorite. His material is bright and up to date and he left them wanting more. Twenty-three Minutes necessitated changing the entire show. He was rather indisposed but after strong persuasion decided to go on. While the act he presented this afternoon went fairly good it was not up to the standard and failed to live up to his reputation as made over the circuit. Twenty-five Minutes Full Stage. KINETOGRAPH The Night Before Christmas Fairly Good
