154 Temple Detroit. Dec. 30, 1907. The Wilton brothers have a very good comedy bar act, good enough to open any show. 7 min. FS. Emma Francis and her Arabs assisted materially in starting the audience off right. There is no change in her act other than that she sings better than formerly. 10 min. Open in one. Close FS. Dixon & Anger's new act "Out West" will not bear close analysis. It is not even as good as their old act. 18 min. in one. Lalla Selbini has an exceptionally good act but her bathing costume while it would do well enough for the sea shore is not just the thing for our matinee audiences. At night great. 13 min. FS. The Fadettes, of boston, fully up to the high standard of past seasons which reflects considerable credit on Mme. Nichols, 30 FS May Tully and company in "Stop, Look and Listen." Act is improved considerable by the elimination of unnecessary talk but Miss Tully's voice is quite husky and she does not appear to as good advantage as before. 24 min. FS. Nichols sisters did very well in this spot and succeeded in satisfying our Monday matinee audience. 14 min. in one. WIlly Pantzer and troupe is the best act of this kind we ever had. The boy is a wonder, comparing favorably with young Urbani. It gave full satisfaction all the way. 12 min. FS. Kinetograph pictures of "Fashionable Paris" are all right.
