Phila., #2. GEORGE ABEL & CO., "Three of a Kind":- 30 min. F. S. 2 shows. On at 9:02. Well known act. Ripping good act, excellently presented in every detail. Got the audience going from the first, and wound up with uproarous applase MARIE LLOYD:- 16 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 9:32. Advance hand. Monday afternoon and evening did not sing, arriving in Philadelphia very much under the weather. In order to keep faith with the public, however, she appeared in the afternoon, being introduced by Mr. George Abel, who made a nice little speech, telling the audience of Miss Lloyd's indisposition. Miss Lloyd made her apologies and showed very plainly that she was unwell. The crowd gave here a good strong hand. Tuesday afternoon Miss Lloyd appeared, and although it was plain to be seen that she was not up to form, she gave a very good show. In the evening her work was still better and promises to improve for the balance of the week. Lloyd is certainly drawing many to the house.- De WITT, BURNS & TORRANCE:- 12 min. F. S. 2 shows. On at 9:48. This is a very good act, particularly valuable for a holiday feature. Carry their own drop and scene which helps the act. The two men impersonate Jack-in-the-Box, and a Toy soldier, something like Fred Walton, the woman the doll. There is abundance of comedy in the act and the acrobatic part is very clever, particularly the finish with the work on the perch. Held the interest throughout with occasional applause and a good strong finish. An excellent Holiday act. FRANK BUSH:- 18 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 10:00. Advance hand. Plenty of good new stories. Got the audience very strong. Keeps right up-to-date with his work and makes a hit. Closed strong.- WILTON BROTHERS:- 7 min. F. S. 2 shows. On at 10:18. One of the best comedy bar acts in the business. Use triple bar and bounding mat. Two men working in gymnastic costume, one comedy. Very expert, and comedy is very good. An excellent closing act from every standpoint. KINETOGRAPH:- LITTLE GIRL WHO DIDN'T BELIEVE IN SANTA CLAUSE:- Splendid film for the Holidays. Carries consistent plot and is very pleasing to the children. LAUGHING GAS:- Good comedy film. BLANCHARD BROTHERS:-13 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 6:50. Two boys who play quite well on various instruments, such as cornets, trombones, musical pipes, snare drum and trumpet. The act would make a good opener. It is well dressed and got some scattered and good applause. THE LA BELLES:- 12 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 7:03. Man working tramp eccentric and girl in neat soubrette costume. Juggle with balls, cigar boxes, Indian clubs. Close with hoop rolling stunt which is quite clever. GENERAL REMARKS:- This comes pretty near being an ideal Holiday bill and very carefully booked to that end. There was not a single act that fell down and there seemed to be general satisfaction all 'round. Countess Rossi was a hit, and of course, LLOYD will prove a big drawing card.-
