166 166 UNION SQUARE CRITICISM----WEEK OF JAN. 6th, 1907. THE TRILLERS The Artist and the Rag Picker. The rag picture making holds the audience very well, and each one received fair applause. Closed fair for this sort of act. 14 minutes, full stage. Three shows. CHAS. HOWISON World's Greatest Bird Warbler. This young man is certainly a good whistler and a good bird warbler. Went very well. 10 minutes in one. Three shows. MABEL MELKER Contortionist. Very pretty girl. She does singing, dancing and contortion work. She has a fair voice, and is a fair dancer. Her contortion work is very good. A good three a day act. Went very well. 9 minutes, full stage. Three shows. SLATER & WILLIAMS Colored Singers and Dancers. A good act for any bill. Their singing is good, and their dancing got big applause. went very well. 14 minutes in one. Three shows. MR. AND MRS. ALLISON In "The Swede Girl and the Fellow who Sings." The man is an excellent singer, and the woman is a very good comedienne. went very well. 17 minutes, full stage and close in one. SIX SAMOIS Rapid Fire Acrobats. A good acrobatic act. Went very well. 8 minutes, full stage. LEON ROGEE Musical imitator. His musical imitations were very well received, and he went very well this afternoon. 10 minutes in one. GALETTI'S MONKEYS A very good animal act. The monkeys are very well trained, and they had the audience in roars of laughter throughout the act. went very well. 15 minutes, full stage. MIGNONETTE KOKIN Europe's most wonderful Dancer. This woman does a very good act. Her dancing is excellent, and her singing is also good. Went very well. 12 minutes in one. to me this afternoon. After each number they only got fair applause, and at the finish of the act they got no applause at all. 21 minutes, full stage. Three scenes. JAMES HARRIGAN "The Tramp Juggler." This man has some very good material, and delivers it very well. He also does some juggling. His juggling is excellent and got a big hand. Went very well. 18 minutes in one. SPISSELL BROS. AND MACK World's Funniest Eccentrics, Presenting their original offering "Cafe De Paris." This is one of the best comedy acrobatic acts I have seen in a long time.
