Cleveland, Ohio. Jan. 13 '08. Ned S. Hastings. JAMES AND JENNIE JEE F.S. Garden. Time 14. Male assistant. Tight wire act. For the most part fair. The finish with Jee Jumping over six chairs on the wire is a big sensation and makes very good. THE BRITTONS (Joe and Sadie.) In 1. Time 11. Coons. Singing very ordinary, but the dancing of Britton is great. He scored a big knockout at the matinee Monday. NED WEYBURN'S PHANTASTIC PHANTOMS F.S. Plain black background. Time 14. Seven girls, two men, An eccentric conception, with characters dressed entirely in white, with sudden disappearances, much like magic. Girls all good looking and shapely. The strong features are the acrobatics of Rosalia and Hilarion Ceballos and the "Skeleton" dance toward the close which is high effective. ROBERT L. DAILEY & CO. In 4. Time 19. 3 women, 6 men. Special interior trolley car. The comedy consists in the various characters getting into the car after which a series of free-for-alls are pulled off in rapid succession. This act is very noisey and has a lot of good fun in it, but mostly on slap-stick order. It's clean and undoubtedly made good, but nothing very big in it's success. GRACE HAZARD In 1. Time 15. Miss Hazard is dainty and artistic. She makes several rapid changes before her audience by ingenious shifts of clothing. She sings the soubrette roles of "The Bohemian Girl", "The Mikado", Olivette" "La [Mascotte?]" and other operas of the sort. Barring the fact that her voice when speaking (she doesn't talk much) is a bit unpleasant, she has one of the most satisfactory acts in 1 we have had for a long time. The audience was held spellbound and called her back four times. HOMER E MASON & MARGUERITE KEELER. Presenting "A Hero?" F.S interior. Time 23. This is a great comedy sketch brimful of real laughs. The part of Spider McCann played by Mr. Mason is a scream and he handles it well. The best comedy sketch in weeks. ELINORE SISTERS In 1. Time 20. The general character of this act is too well known to need description. They have a lot of new material which keeps everybody laughing and Kate's comedy is even funnier than formerly. KITTY TRANEY F.S. Garden. Time 12. Miss Traney has a trick poney (good), three trained dogs (fair) and puts on a very skillful juggling act in which she works all the time and does not "stall". This act held the audience in their seats well. THE KINETOGRAPH. 181.
