191 N. S. Hastings. CLEVELAND, OHIO. JAN. 20, '08. KRAEMER & BELLECLAIRE Special set, Open in 4, close in 3. time 9. Neat and artistic posing and hand balancing. A great display of muscles. Makes very good with the audience. quiet, and refined in presentation. FARRELL TAYLOR TRIO Open C.D.F. Close in 1. 2 men/black face comedy, and Blanche Davenport. Time 25. Good singing/fair comedy, and a little excellent instrumental music. The audience appeared to be well pleased throughout, but the act would be greatly improved if about ten minutes shorter and the horse play cut out. CATHERINE HAYES and SABEL JOHNSON Time 26. Open C.D.F. Close in 1. Presenting "A Dream Of Baby Days." This is a very funny oddity, with a lot of great lines built about the huge size of the two comediennes. The singing is first class. The finale with Miss Johnson as Buster Blue and Miss Hayes as Little Tottie, both in baby clothes leave the audience screaming. W.C. FIELDS F.S. Palace. time 12. Carries male assistant and considerable apparatus. Undoubtedly the hit of the show. His juggling is skillful and neat. His comedy is immense. He would carry off honors on almost any bill. THAT QUARTETTE In 1. Time 16. 4 men. They open with a loud shouting song that gave everybody about me a headache. Then they cool down and give several excellent solos. The men are neatly dressed in evening attire. They appear to have a rivalry, to out-shout each other. Otherwise up to the average. Fair applause. JOSEPHINE COHAN AND COMPANY 2 men. Presenting "A Girl Of The Times." C.D.F. Time 21. A very clever little sketch fitting the actress beautifully. She has a good chance to bring in her dancing and singing which goes with big noise from the audience. The general tone is comedy of the refined sort. A great big hit. FRED NIBLO In One. Time 17. Gets away from the usual line of talk and has his audience screaming all the time. His material is real humor, and the people liked him so well that they had him back four times before they would let him go. EPH THOMPSON'S ELEPHANTS Did not arrive. in time for matinee. THE KINETOGRAPH.
