213 Report on Columbus show week Feby 3rd. -- 08 -- W. W. Prosser. McCart's Monks: A lot of very well trained monks in a number of stunts of the usual order, all of which went well and served to make the act a success. Solid applause at finish. Garden 14 minutes. A. O. Duncan: ventriloquist: He has about the same line of material as usual and made quite a favorable impression with it. -- I believe he went much better than a year ago. Conservatory: 21 minutes. Farrell - Taylor Trio: - Two men one woman: One man backface rough comedy, the other wench: -- woman white and straight: -- The act is good and bad in spots, the former predominating. -- Some time is wasted during the C. D. F. but the finish in one works up well and they get away satisfactorily. -- Singing, instrumental music introduced. -- 26 minutes. Bert Levy: One of the very best offerings ever given her. -- He went big from beginning to end and may be accounted a substantial hit. -- In fact the hit of the bill. Sheet in 3. Kinetograph: The Little Girl Who Didn't Believe in Santa Claus: -- Very good. 10 minutes. Abels Arden Co: Sketch, "3 of A Kind." -- This act went fairly well but not big by any means. -- This town is hard on sketches of any kind. C. D. F. 27 mi. Rialto Comedy Four: A male quartet, three men straight, one comedy, rube. Rube sang off key this afternoon but got along very nicely for all of that. -- The Rube has a vein of comedy that seemed to take. -- Not a very strong act. 15 minutes in one. Boys in Blue: Excellent military act. -- Fine drilling with elaborate finish in wall scaling, shooting, etc. -- The act went with a vim all through and should prove a hit of the first class. 14 minutes. Special set. THE DIME FORMERLY AUDITORIUM, Report. Week Fen. 3 / '08 Onthank & Blanchette, - Acrobats, 10-12 minutes, full stage, could work in two, interior set, good act, a hit here, good for Pawt., Southbridges, or three shows Prov. (213) Fields & Moson, (- "The Huckster & The Newsboy") Singers & Dancers, - 12-15 minutes, in one, street drop, fairly good act, very well received here, would go in Pawt. or Southbridge. Tommy Hayes. (Musical Trick Bone Soloist) 12 minutes, in two, can work in one, interior set, good act, a hit here, good for Pawt, Southbridge, or 3 shows. Prov. E. Sholes. Show as a whole very well liked and every one has a good word to say for us.
