(2) Minnie Seligman and William Bramwell. On at 3.37, 20 min full stage. One of the best comedy sketches of the season, and I have "Peaches" and "Cherie" in mind when I say this. It is also played to perfection, both by Miss Seligman and Mr. Bramwell, while Miss Holt, as the maid, deserves particular mention. It got countless laughs and ended with a scream. Clifton Crawford. On at 4.03, 18 min, in 1. Although this is Crawford's fourth week in Boston this season, the other three having been played with the opposition, he easily held this spot and left the audience hungry for more. As good an act in 1 as we could ask for. Cottrell-Powell Troupe. On at 4.21, 9 min, full stage. A great act of the kind, but I think I had rather have Bradna and Derrick or Mlle. Marguerite. Will make an excellent closing feature for this week's bill. Kinetograph. On at 4.30, 23 min. "Animal and Bird Sagacity"; a great film, very interesting. "The Count of No Account"; a fair comic. Winkler and Kress. On at 4.53, 12 min, full stage; 3 shows. Another kind regards to Rice and Prevost. A very good comedian, with a particularly good acrobat. The act is likely to develop quite a bit. Wills and Reynolds. On at 5.05, 15 min, in 1; 3 shows. Comedians, singers and talkers, and dancers. When I got through with them this afternoon they came pretty near being dancers only, for the rest of their stuff was very burlesquey. I do not think there are many houses on the circuit in which they could hold the number two spot satisfactorily. Conser's Dogs. On at 5.20, 10 min, full stage; 3 shows. A very good act, on the style of the Victoria Parker turn. Thoroughly all right for the money, ninety dollars. Would make a satisfactory opening feature in almost all of the smaller cities. Cuts:- Winkler and Kress. Mock prayer. Motion of throwing chair into audience. Wills and Reynolds. "Button" verse in "Hunting" song. "Affinity cocktail" squib. "Bible" story. Remarks "Took off my shoes and the cow died", and "The cow thought she had twins". "Ping pong" story. Comment. This is one of the best shows of the season. It wouldn't take many changes to make it one of the best ever.
