Phila.2- WILLY PANTZER TROUPE, Acro:- 11 min. F.S. 2 shows. On at 9:26. Advance hand This is a splendid acrobatic act. The little fellow is one of the cleverest in Vaudeville, and the act has an artistic continental flavor. The applause was constant, and at the close three curtain calls. Would hold good anywhere in any spot on the bill. GRACE VAN SUDDIFORD, Voc:- 10 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 9:37. Makes a beautiful stage picture, and sings charmingly. Rendered three songs, all of which won good applause and wound up with a strong finish. WILFRED CLARKE & CO, "What Will Happen Next":- 16 min. F.S. 2 shows. On at 9:47. This act improves with age. It is surely full of bright and original lines, and the laughter and applause were constant throughout. Finished big, with curtain call. COOPER & ROBINSON, Col. S.T.:- 15 min. in 1. 2 shows. On at 10:03. Advance hand. Well known on the Circuit. Made their usual hit with new line of stuff and their usual closing songs which is certainly a novelty. Immense hand at the finish with four curtain calls. COTTRELL-POWELL, Equestrian:-F.S. This is a very showy act, man and woman doing acrobatic stunts on horse back. Owing to the fact that the man was feeling very ill to-day, and worked against doctor's advice, the act fell short of requirements. Cottrell collapsed after the act and doctor thinks he is threatened with typhoid. Closed, with ELTON POLO TRIO ad substitute. KINETOGRAPH:- GALVANIC FLUID:- Very funny film which brings roars of laughter. TOUERGES IN THEIR COUNTRY:- Quite an interesting film of savage life. DISCHARGING THE MAID:- Conventional comedy film of the French order. SAONA, Impersonations:- 10 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 6:54. The same impersonations as previously given here, with one exception. Cody, Lee, Grant and McKinley were the favorites. Went well. RANZETTA & LYMAN, Com. Acro:- 9 min. F.S. 3 shows. On at 7:04. Man and woman, the man doing the comedy acrobatic work after the manner of Seymour and Hill and Rice and Prevost, the woman doing little else than making screaming imitation of Miss Hill, as her acrobatic work and her comedy are both about nil. Could hold only a very obscure spot. Closed with poor hand. GENERAL REMARKS:- This is a most unsatisfactory bill from one standpoint that we have ever had, in that no less than nine acts occupy ninety-two minutes in all, or an average of a little over ten minutes each. Two or three of them which were supposed to do sixteen minutes or thereabouts did not anywhere near make good on their time, as in the case of Johnny Johns, for instance. For that reason it was necessary to put in DOHERTY'S POODLES to piece out the supper show and transpose the entire bill to run as above. The loss in the case of the COTTRELL-POWELL act would have been more serious had we not been able to secure as good an act as the ELTON-POLO TRIO as a closer. ELTON-POLO TRIO, Casting act:-10 min. F S. On at 10:18. Three men working in athletic costume on two high perches and bounding mat. Do regulation stunts some of which are unusual. Makes splendid closing feature. Strong finish.
