BOSTON KEITH'S May 26, 9 Kinograms:- Interesting. Davis & Pelle:- 5 min. in 2-1/2. A neat routine of hand to hand balancing, do clever work and made a nice opener. Will Ward & Girls:- 32 min. f.s. This act went over big in number two spot, an exceptional contralto voice being quite a feature. Orth & Cody:- 18 min. in 1. Didn't go quite as big as on previous visits owing, undoubtedly, to their recent bookings hereabouts. Burt & Rosedale:- 16 min. f.s. A nice, clean comedy act with a little music and dancing. Mr. Burt's eccentric dancing at the finish put them over to a good hand. Mignon:- 12 min. in 1. Mignon's program didn't seem to go as well as when she was here before, although the Bernard Granville Imitation sent her off to a good hand. Joe Towle:- 18 min. in 1. This boy's peculiar method of entertainment seemed to please, quite a few laughs, and closed to a good hand. Edna Goodrich:- 23 min. f.s. Spec. An elaborate stage setting, and some very beautiful gowns worn by Miss Goodrich, made this sketch quite interesting, but they closed only to a fair hand. Lou Holtz:- 13 min. in 1. This boy started rather slowly, but finally got going and closed to a nice hand. Hackett & Delmar:- 12 min. f.s. Spec. A good dancing act, but had rather a hard time holding the audience, closed to about one-half the house. CUTS: Burt & Rosedale: Please greatly modify the business of tickling lady with the flute. Will Ward & Co.: Please eliminate suggestion of "shimmy dance" in Miss Evan's number. Hackett & Delmar: Please have lady wear fleshings during your act. Orth & Cody: Please eliminate the word "bushwa" from your act. Lou Holtz: Please eliminate line in song referring to "girl being all right" when operator flashes "Good-night", the word "sucker", reference to "Child's Restaurant", and the words "bushwa" and "God". Joe Towle: Please eliminate reference to having men in the box office and any reference to people in audience, "three down and three up" gag, and business of scratching, and all reference to "cooties.
