PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S May 26th, 9 KINOGRAMS - Good pictures and especially good "Topics of the Day". THE VIVIANS - (16 mins.) A very good routine of sharp-shooting. They have avery good finish and closed to a big hand. JULIA CURTIS - (10 mins.) This girl was a big applause hit, doing especially well in this early position with her imitations of instruments and voice variations. Closed to a big hand. NASH & O'DONNELL - (16 mins.) in "Three G. M." - A good comedy sketch that was very well received and closed to a big hand. FRANK CRUMIT - (15 mins.) He repeated the success made here on former visits. Has some good songs and stories which he gets everything possible out of. Closed strong. AMES & WINTHROP - (26 mins.) A big laughing hit. They have some new travesty bits since last time here and each number brought big results. Despite the handicap caused by their scenery not arriving in time for the first show, they scored a big hit. JIM & BETTY MORGAN - (13 mins.) Replacing Sinclair & Casper, without the help of any billing, this couple held down the spot in very good shape, getting applause with each number and closing to a very good hand. GERTRUDE HOFFMANN - (24 mins.) With a new arrangement of dances, including two or three of her old numbers, she was very warmly received. Her numbers were applauded liberally and she was compelled to take two or three bows at the finish. She is appearing alone, with a couple of dressers, to help make her changes in view of the audience and her act, while not as elaborate as in the past, is highly colored and has plenty of action to it. SIDNEY PHILLIPS - (11 mins.) Following Miss Hoffmann's big flash he did very well with his character songs and stories. He sang three numbers and closed with a recitation, finishing to a very good hand. PROSPER & MARET - (7 mins.) These boys did very well in the closing spot with their showy routine of hand-to-hand work. Attractive staging and dressing helps a lot and they have some very clever tricks. GENERAL REMARKS - A very good bill surrounding Gertrude Hoffmann, our name feature, and the show went over in excellent shape before a well filled house.
