33 PROVIDENCE, R. I. E. F. ALBEE SEPT 8th, 9 This is one of the greatest playing bills I ever saw. From start to finish, everything made good and some of the acts made a most decided hit. Good business prevailed in spite of the hot weather and I look for a very fine week. CHAS. LOVENBERG MARTYN & FLORENCE: I a little act composed mainly of juggling, interspersed with a little singing and dancing by the woman. The man's catching of balls on a fork held in his mouth, thrown by people in the audience, is about the best work of that kind I have seen. They have very pretty stage setting. 10 minutes, full stage. POWERS & WALLACE: Man and woman in a little flirtation sketch and southern dialect. Very good act that pleased immensely. 16 minutes in one. CHARLES IRWIN: One of our best monologist. Most of his talk being on Scotch dialect. Made a very big hit. 21 minutes in one. LANGFORD & FREDERICKS: These people offer one of the best presented skits with a little singing and dancing introduced, that we have had in a ling time. The man has a splendid personality and gets his material over in a very good style. 14 minutes, full stage. RYAN & HEALEY: These boys made an unqualified hit, particularly as Healey is a Providence boy and he received something just short of an ovation. The have a very fine act, good enough to play anywhere and in any place on the bill. 16 min. in one. DUVAL & SYMONDS: Man and woman with talking act/ with a lot of very funny material. Made quite a hit. 13 minutes in one. "KISS ME." Very elaborate musical comedy playlet, well put on, particularly as to costumes. 40 minutes, full stage. MORAN & MACK: Black face comedians who repeated their success of other theatres. 15 minutes in one. RINALDO BROTHERS: Hand balancing and statue posing in bronze. 7 minutes, full stage. CUTS: "KISS ME." -- Omit the word "HELL." DUVAL & SYMONDS: -- Omit Damn and What the H -- POWERS & WALLACE: -- Lady, please not appear in bare legs.
