49 BOSTON KEITH'S Sept. 8, 9 Kinograms & Topics of the Day:-Kinograms fair, Topics of the Day fair. Herman & Shirley:-13 min. F. S. An excellent contortionist in a novel presentation, made a good opener. Transfield Sisters:-13 min. in 1. These girls have a neat little offering that seemed to please. Smith & Austin: 13 min. 2 1/2 and 1. Big laughing hit. Harriet Remple & Co,:-29 min. f.s. Spec. Prettily staged playlet, well handled, held interest, and closed to a nice hand. Quixey 4:-18 min. in 1. These boys have good voices, personality, and a good arrangement of songs and banjo numbers. Went good. Gretchen Eastman & Co.:-21 min. f.s. Spec. This act makes quite a flash and has some especially good dancing by Mr. Guiran. Went over well at the evening performance. Klein Brothers:-16 min. in 1. These boys were just as big a laughing hit as on their previous visits here. Joseph E. Howard & Ethelyn Clarke:- 18 min. F.S. Good songs, well handled, went over very nicely. Maxine Bros. & Bobby:-7 min. f.s. This well known act did very well closing the show. CUTS:-Howard & Clarke: Please eliminate "License" gag and business of snuffing coke in dream song. Klein Bros.: Please eliminate reference to Manager and Boyleston St., "The Boston American", Propaganda gag, "Picked up Two" and "Dirty Dishes" gag. Also take out "Up in the Air" song, and line about "Tummy Ache."
