PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE SEPT. 16th, We have a very fine bill again this week which the audience manifestily enjoyed. Every act but one scored a most decided hit. CHAS. LOVENBERG. DANCING KENNEDYS: Very fast act of whirlwind and "texas tommy" dancing. Made a lively start for the show. 6 min. full stage. QUIXEY FOUR: A Quartette of bright young chaps who sing, play piano and banjos and get their work over in great shape. A real hit. 19 min. in one. HERMAN & SHIRLEY: Well known act of contortion dancing put on in sketch form, which repeated its former success here. 14 min. full stage. KELLUM & O'DARE: A tall lanky chap and short attractive girl who pre- a very bright comedy act which met with distinct favor. 16 min. in one. HARRIET REMPEL & CO: In a sketch called "Tarrytown". The playlet somewhat resembles W. S. Gilbert's "Sweethearts". Very bright dainty and sweet, excellently put on and well played, the real headline act of the bill. 26 min. full stage. stage. CREOLE FASHION PLATE: This young man's work is so well known that a comment is unnecessary, except to say that he made a decided hit. 20 min. in one. He claims he should be working in two and a half and that he so informed the Mgre. also he is getting a new drop that will take up still more stage and the act in that case will have to be looked upon as a full stage act, which would lessen his value. Managers who have him booked, figuring on an act in one had best get in touch with him in the matter. GRETCHEN EASTMAN & CO: Aside from a little toe dancing from one member of the Company and the solo dance of Mr. Guiran, this is a very mediocre act. It would be well paid at half the salary. Made no impression upon the audience whatever. 20 min. full stage. LEW DOCKSTADER: In what is probably the brightest monologue we ever presented here. 19 min. in one. THE RODRIQUEZ: In a most sensational perch act. 7 min. full stage. MOTION PICTURES: O. K.
