PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE OCTOBER 6th, 9 We have a most satisfactory bill this week, although there is a preponderance of sketches, they are all so different and so good that this condition is overlooked. There might be a little more variety to the show, but the individual acts all scored well and the patrons were well pleased. CHAS. LOVENBERG. ELLY: "The Little Marvel". Juggling act with acrobatics thrown in. Very good indeed. 9 min. in one. LEWIS & WHITE: Two young women, comedy songs. Nice act. 18 min. in one. LIDA MC.MILLAN & BERT SNOW: A little sketch called "Contrary", that proved satisfactory 12 min. full stage. JACK INGLISS: For the first time in Mr. Ingliss' various appearances here singly and with an assortment of partners, he made good, in fact, he went very well indeed. 12 min. in one. MAGIC GLASSES: A little fantasy in rhyme, well staged and well played. 16 min. full stage. ELIDA MORRIS: Miss Morris has always done very well in this house and this time was a little better than usual. She brings a number of exclusive songs of exceptionally good quality, which she renders in an excellent manner. One of the real hits of the show. 17 min. in one. FOR PITY'S SAKE: A Well known burlesque act that had the audience in screams from start to finish. 26 min. full stage. FOUR HARMONY KINGS: Colored men with good voices and good collection of songs, a hit. 17 min. in one. VALLECITA'S LEOPARDS: A very showy act that I believe thrilled more than pleased. I am afraid that it is the kind of an act that would tend to keep some people out of the theatre. 10 min. full stage. CUTS: LEWIS & WHITE: Cut entire song, "You Would be Surprised." JACK INGLISS: Cut "Where in Hell."
