PHILADELPHIA B. F. KEITH'S OCTOBER 6 9 KINOGRAMS & "TOPICS OF THE DAY" - A very fair average of pictures. "Topics very good. EL REY SISTERS - (7 mins.) Very good novelty, two girls doing a series of dances on roller skates. A good routine of stuff and dress their act very well. HARRY & GRACE ELLSWORTH - (11 mins.) The dancing of the boy in this act brought a riot of applause. They do single and double dance numbers and a couple of songs, but the stepping of the boy is the big hit. Closed very strong. LEE KOHLMAR & CO. - (29 mins.) This sketch played here last season when it scored a big laughing hit and it proved a very good repeater, getting a lot of laughs and finishing to a big hand. WHEATON & CARROLL - (20 mins.) A tremendous applause hit. They have a number of new songs, about the best they have ever given us and their entire act was a big applause hit from start to finish. DIANE & RUBINI - (16 mins.) They shared the big applause honors in the bill. The girl injects just enough "pep" in their songs to get a lot of laughs and the violin solos by Rubini were warmly applauded. A high-class musical offering with a comedy touch that pleased very much and finished strong. DUVAL & SYMONDS - (23 mins.) A very good comedy talking act with some singing and a little stepping by a boy and girl. They handle their material in good shape and held this spot in a very satisfactory way, closing to a good hand. CAMERON SISTERS - (12 mins.) Their offering this year is about the same as they did the last time they appeared here, the dances being well executed and the girls wearing several changes of pretty costumes. Dave Dryer furnished some good music at the piano and the act made a very good impression, finishing to a big hand. MILT COLLINS - (12 mins.) Taking the place of Lew Dockstader without any billing Collins did very well in the next to closing spot, despite the handicap he was working under. He has a good line of talk and gets it over in his usual good style. ERFORD'S GOLDEN WHIRL - A very elaborate and pretty aerial act by three women. They do the usual routine of teeth tricks and some other gymnastics on a whirling apparatus. The act makes a very pretty picture with its fancy dress and made a very good closing number. GENERAL REMARKS - A very good show despite the loss of Lew Dockstader who was taken ill. Milt Collins substituted and did very well under the circumstances. The rest of the bill made a great show every act going big. CUTS Duval & Symonds - The word "Damn" and expression "What the H-----
