PROVIDENCE. R. I. E. F. ALBEE OCT. 27th, 9 As a whole, the bill plays first rate this week, in fact it is very much liked. There is plenty of comedy, novelty singing and dancing and there is no reason to look for anything but a good week's business. CHAS. LOVENBERG. GERE & DELANEY: Skating act. Very old fashioned. Didn't get very far. 7 min. full stage. MASTERS & KRAFT: Two young fellows in a dancing act which while clever did not secure any great applause. 10 min? in one. JACK LA VIER: This is a corking good comedy monologue act with his trapeze stunts introduced, making it an unusual sort of presentation. Had the audience roaring. 16 min. in one. FERN & DAVIS: This act is very good in spots, only fair in others. While it went nicely, it did not go nearly as well as on its previous visit. It might be well to mention also that they have cut out their scenery, using house stuff on this occasion. 19 min. full stage, close in one. NITTA-JO: This woman repeated her success of last year, if anything was a bigger hit.than before and is a very headliner. 20 min. open in two close in one. THE RAGGED EDGE: A dramatic sketch done in ragtime that proved considerable of a novelty and seemed to please. 15 min. full stage. GEORGE AUSTIN MOORE: Southern songs and stories went very well. 15 min. in one. WM. GAXTON & CO: In "The Junior Partner". A big laughing hit. 23 min. full stage. SISSLE & BLAKE: Two colored men and a routine of songs and piano playing; the songs being of a very varied character. They were a most pronounced success; the audience being loath to let them go. 15 min. in one. THE RAMSDELLS & DEYO: Dancing act. They have some very beautiful costumes and drapings. 15 min. full stage. CUTS: FERN & DAVIS: Damdest.
